But what is the Ethics Office?

Pôle Éthique is a collective of designers committed to an ecological, social and ethical approach. Their commitment, formalised in a charter (available here), includes the creation of organic fabrics, sustainable wool, committed embroidery, eco-friendly haberdashery, plant-based dyes and much more. These designers meet at the Créations & Savoir-faire show, where they commit to respecting the environment, people and animals, and to promoting ethical practices that respect nature.

TRIBU INDIGO

Tribu Indigo is a newly-created French brand specialising in hand-dyed handicrafts made using plant-based processes that respect the planet. Whether it's fanny packs, pouches, cushions, scented candles, greetings cards or DIY kits, each creation is made from natural materials (cotton, linen, jute, recycled paper) and dyed with plants, roots, flowers or bark, without the use of chemicals.

Tribu Indigo is driven by strong ethical values, promoting sustainability, fair trade and living craftsmanship. It works with local craftspeople and social reintegration structures, perpetuating ancestral skills (batik, shibori, block-print) while preserving a reduced environmental impact.

Green Bobine denim jacket

GREEN BOBINE

Green Bobine is an invitation to look at your clothes differently. Rather than throwing away a pair of jeans with a hole in them or a damaged jumper, the brand suggests turning these "little accidents" into creative opportunities.

Created in 2022 by Linda and Valérie, Green Bobine designs sewing kits for easy repair, customisation and upcycling. Each box contains everything you need: threads, needles, water-soluble embroidery designs, illustrated step-by-step instructions and even a QR code to access the explanations. Accessible to beginners and more experienced wearers alike, the range can be adapted to suit every need: a hole in the elbow, wear and tear on the knees, a desire for an embroidered motif to add style...

With Green Bobine, you can extend the life of your clothes while adding a unique and cheerful touch. Repairing becomes a creative, responsible... and terribly satisfying act.

SEPTEMBER HOUSE

Maison Septembre combines a guest house and a vegetable dyeing studio in an old farmhouse in Anjou, between vineyards and the Loire. Inspired by the arrival of her daughters after more than 10 years in Paris, this adventure began with the discovery of this farm. Maison Septembre dyes its wools using local plants and potassium alum as a non-toxic mordant. The wools, which come from a spinning mill in the Creuse region of France, are not treated with superwash, preserving the vegetable colours and ancestral know-how.
