With almost 400 workshops, 4,000 students and over 600 hours of lessons, a team of 70 teachers (artists, designers, influencers, Meilleurs Ouvriers de France and passionate craftspeople) is waiting to share their know-how and tips with you.
Whether you want to try out new techniques, discover new practices or perfect your skills, our workshops are the perfect opportunity to explore, learn and develop your DIY skills. Sewing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, painting, decorating, jewellery, modelling, floral art, recycling, coaching... there's something for everyone!
And to share the creativity, some workshops are designed for children or as a 4-handed duo, perfect for a family moment together. Explore, experiment, create... and let your talent shine through!

Once again this year, the thread arts are in the spotlight! Seven creative areas welcome you to explore sewing, embroidery, knitting, weaving, punchneedle, patchwork, carded wool... not forgetting the workshops offered by our partners on the Tombow, Mondial Tissus and Ateliers Mandala stands. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, these classes led by talented designers will enable you to discover new techniques, perfect your gestures and enhance your skills. Everyone will be able to take away unique creations... and invaluable knowledge to take their practice even further.

The artists at the Textile Art Exhibition share their expertise with you...
To help you discover exceptional skills, the show is devoting one of its workshop areas to five artists from the Textile Art Exhibition. Embroidery, weaving, textile jewellery, painting... These workshops offer a unique opportunity to talk to the designers, immerse yourself in their world and learn their artistic techniques first-hand. It's a unique opportunity to enrich your practice and be inspired by the talents shaping the world of contemporary textiles.

Artisans are in the spotlight...
We are keen to offer you workshops led by exceptional artists and craftspeople, based on rare and fascinating skills: featherwork, bookbinding, straw marquetry, metal embossing, kintsugi, tenkoku (the Japanese art of engraving one's seal), paper strip weaving with master Japanese craftsmen, Provençal boutis, tapestry on seats, block print... All unique experiences to discover traditional techniques, learn new practices and create pieces that tell a story.

Committed workshops...
Recovered materials, plant-based and organic materials, anti-waste creations, darning and upcycling... Numerous workshops invite you to create in a committed and responsible way. Do-it-yourself means choosing your materials, controlling where they come from and making sustainable objects and clothing, while combating over-consumption. It's a great way to give free rein to your creativity and make a positive impact on the environment at the same time.

DIY beginners? Get started!
Do It Yourself is all about Doing It Together! Do you dream of setting up your own business but don't dare take the plunge? Don't panic: there are plenty of workshops specially designed for beginners, in all creative fields. Whether you want to create a vitamin-packed poster using paper collage, write a haiku, create jewellery, learn watercolours, make a plant crown, try your hand at macramé, modelling or cyanotype, there's sure to be a workshop to suit you.

Workshops for children...
To stimulate children's imaginations and awaken their creativity, we've put together a special range of fun and educational workshops! The minimum age required is indicated on each workshop sheet, to ensure that everyone gets the most out of the experience. Some workshops are even designed to be carried out with 4 hands, so that the child can create accompanied by a parent or relative: DIY then becomes a moment of complicity and pleasure shared as a family.

The Créations & savoir-faire show is also a unique opportunity to meet in person the designers you follow every day on social networks. Discover traditional Asian techniques!
As in previous years, the show will be highlighting Asian know-how, through the exhibitors in the Allée du Japon, as well as through workshops that will plunge you into the heart of fascinating traditional and contemporary techniques: Kintsugi, Sashiko, Haïku, Bojagi, Mizuhiki, Kokedama, Saeksilnubi... and many more to explore. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn about ancestral practices, discover new techniques and create your own Asian-inspired pieces, leaving with unique and inspiring creations.

This year, 3 major themes in creative entrepreneurship will be addressed in the form of training workshops. A round-table discussion and coaching session with industry professionals who will give you the keys to getting started:

- Dare to create your own dedicated DIY space and understand how to make it profitable with Alice de Patronnerie.
- Get to know the basics of developing your professional activity in connection with creative crafts with Mélanie Seynat from the podcast Fait Main.
