A number of non-profit organisations will be present at the show to showcase their work and creations:

  • La Maison du Boutis: Preserving the boutis tradition, a treasure trove of Provençal textile heritage.
  • Nuido France and Ina Georgeta Statescu: A tribute to the finesse and patience of embroidery.
  • Solidarity for Earth: Promoting creative hobbies as a vehicle for social cohesion and ecological awareness.
  • The Couture Brigade: A collective that puts sewing back at the service of sharing and creativity.
  • L'Atelier de la Broderie: A house dedicated to passing on embroidery skills.

So many initiatives that embody the richness of handmade, intergenerational transmission and the safeguarding of a precious heritage.

The Art Textile Expo: a tribute to the creative power and solidarity of women

For over twenty years,Expo Art Textile has been paying tribute to the creative and supportive power of women. This edition celebrates the Guldusi project, an Afghan initiative where embroidery becomes an act of emancipation and resistance. Handmade by Afghan women, these works tell intimate stories of hope and struggle. Each motif becomes a voice, each point an affirmation of freedom.

As part of this commitment, a number of collaborative projects will forge links between generations and cultures:

  • Broder la mémoire, where faces from the past are brought to life through thread.
  • Tricote un sourire, a collective work born from thousands of tiny squares of wool.
  • In the head of an embroiderer, a series of video portraits that give voice to free and inspiring words.

The Ethics Department

The Ethics Department embodies the Créations & savoir-faire show's commitment to more responsible and conscious design.

A real source of inspiration, it brings together a group of brands, craftspeople and associations who place ecology, ethics and solidarity at the heart of their approach.

Together, they defend shared values such as transparency, sustainability and respect for the environment, and invite visitors to discover a different, more respectful and committed way of creating.

On the sustainable event side, several concrete actions reflect this commitment.
