The artisans and demonstrations that brought ID-FIL to life in 2025
Last year, the space showcased the art and craft of making with demonstrations, meetings and book signings with exceptional craftspeople. The public was able to immerse themselves in a rich programme: model making with moulding on a mannequin, traditional costume pattern making, rare embroideries (Lunéville, Japanese, gold thread), bobbin lace, Irish guipure or even weaving and artificial flowers.
Each day explored the diversity of traditional and contemporary skills. The sessions, which lasted between 45 minutes and 2 hours, were free to attend, giving visitors the chance to talk to the designers and, in some cases, try their hand at a technique such as draping or bobbin work.
More than just formal courses, these events have been designed as genuine moments of sharing and discovery at the heart of the intelligence of the hand.
Did you know? Lili Bohème is also a world to discover all year round:
- a showroom and material library dedicated mainly to the textile arts,
- More than 100 m² of completely renovated space, where decoration, antiques and creativity come together,
- a large room with a cathedral ceiling dedicated to workshops,
- a host of spaces designed to inspire and awaken the creative spirit in everyone.
A must for anyone who loves authentic materials, unique objects and moments of shared creation.
