Hand-drawn stand in the ID-FIL area

The Créations & savoir-faire sewing workshop: a design by Lili Bohème

Spanning 24 square metres, the ID•FIL space has been transformed by a design conceived by Lili Bohème, a passionate designer who blends beautiful fabrics, vintage finds and a bohemian aesthetic. Inspired by the haberdasheries of yesteryear, the décor features draper’s tables, vintage sewing machines, dress forms, trade-specific furniture filled with antique fabrics, spools of thread and lace, as well as a lovely collection of ‘ladies’ handiwork’ and other embroidery pieces… all treasures that create a warm and poetic atmosphere.

And the magic continued: every item was for sale directly at the Lili Bohème stand.

The artisans and demonstrations that brought ID-FIL to life in 2025

Last year, the space showcased the art and craft of making with demonstrations, meetings and book signings with exceptional craftspeople. The public was able to immerse themselves in a rich programme: model making with moulding on a mannequin, traditional costume pattern making, rare embroideries (Lunéville, Japanese, gold thread), bobbin lace, Irish guipure or even weaving and artificial flowers.

Each day explored the diversity of traditional and contemporary skills. The sessions, which lasted between 45 minutes and 2 hours, were free to attend, giving visitors the chance to talk to the designers and, in some cases, try their hand at a technique such as draping or bobbin work.

More than just formal courses, these events have been designed as genuine moments of sharing and discovery at the heart of the intelligence of the hand.
