Adorn your candles with pretty embossed metal jewellery this Christmas!
The equipment
- Metal foil for embossing
- Biros
- Skewer pick
- Felt plate
- Adhesive tape
- Sharp scissors
- Bedbugs
- Jewellery glue
- Cylindrical spark plugs

Explanations:

Stage 1
Download and print the candle jewellery designs. Cut around each design. Check that the size of each pattern matches the size of the candle you are going to decorate. You can enlarge or reduce the motifs as required.

Step 2
Place a piece of embossing foil on the felt plate and fix the design on top with a piece of adhesive.

Step 3
Trace the outlines and details of the design with a biro, pressing a little so that it marks the metal.

Step 4
Remove the pattern sheet and work directly on the metal with the skewer, playing with the right and left sides and the two ends of the skewer (pointed and rounded) to give the metal volume.

Step 5
Cut the design flush with the edges using sharp scissors.

Step 6
Glue a drawing pin to the back of the design using jewellery glue. Leave to dry.

Step 5
Do the other motifs in the same way.

Step 5
Attach each design to a candle by pushing the pin into the wax.
Here are some pretty Christmas candles to decorate your festive table. You can also make these designs without attaching them to a drawing pin, instead punching a hole in the top and threading a ribbon through it to decorate the tree.
