Slow Creation: an invitation to sew differently

In a world where everything is speeding up, Mondial Tissus invites you to give new meaning to the way you consume by going back to doing things yourself. Through its Slow Creation movement, the brand promotes sewing and creativity as a sustainable and playful alternative to over-consumption. Sewing becomes a creative process that combines a commitment to the environment, a controlled budget and time dedicated to the handmade, where each person's personality is expressed.

With this in mind, Mondial Tissus launched the Slow Creation Challenge in February, inviting amateur designers to join the movement and express their talent through unique fashion or decorative pieces.

A unique fashion show at the heart of the show!

Join us on Saturday 29 November at 2pm on the show's Central Aisle to attend the Slow Creation Fashion Show. Participants, finalists and local favourites will parade alongside the two big winners France-Belgium, showcasing their original creations.

This highlight will showcase the work of passionate designers who are proving that with just a few metres of fabric and a lot of heart, it's possible to create something that lasts, with style and pride. Mondial Tissus thus confirms its desire to encourage a new generation of amateur dressmakers, in search of meaning, sharing and awareness.
