Cindy's dressing room
For a long time I thought sewing was old-fashioned, and that I was neither patient nor talented. Then I took the plunge and everything changed. Today, I'm creating free tutorials and patterns to prove that sewing is easy and trendy. My motivation: that you dare, that you're proud of yourself, and that you feel like a loose cannon in what you create.

Create new, easy-to-sew patterns that will become an essential in your wardrobe.

La Droguerie
Founded in 1975, La Droguerie is a French haberdashery specialising in DIY and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! Initially set up by two do-it-yourself girlfriends, it wasn't long before sisters and brother came along to lend a hand, enjoyed "playing shop" and stayed with the team. We're known for our impressive range of colours, the abundance and quality of our products: a veritable Ali Baba's cave. Beads, buttons, knitting yarns, ribbons, badges, fabrics, knitting and sewing patterns, jewellery accessories, stationery... there's no shortage of ideas!
His favourite DIY?
I remember it well, it was my very first 'real' knitting project. I started with shawls, bonnets, small pieces... It seemed endless! When I decided to go for a striped Kid Mohair jacket, at first I had fun trying out 10,000 colour combinations, but then I just went for it. A delight! The stripes motivated me, I could see the project moving forward! It was the start of a great love story! I even took a photo of it on my Instagram account @frogettemenot.

His favourite DIY?
It's hard to choose, I love all kinds of creative hobbies, but the two that are essential to me and that I've loved for years are sewing and drawing, and I've managed to combine them by writing and drawing about sewing: with humorous comics and books to help you transform and adapt sewing patterns easily to your morphology and your desires!
